SUMMARY: RIFLE 1
DESCRIPTION: RIFLE 1\nThis course will be a series of instructions\, demonstrations\, and live fire practical drills. The goal of this class is to build the skills of rifle tactics in terms of self-defense. Rifle 1 will focus heavily on handling techniques\, reloads\, practical shooting skills\, and much more. This tactical course will be relatively fast-paced\, while still giving breaks between certain drills and small breaks on the hour. The class will be held outside and require movement during drills. This is a 5-hour course and can potentially run longer depending on the class. \n  \nEquipment required: \n\nAR style rifle\n400rds minimum for rifle\nSling \nIron sights and/or optic \nMinimum of 4 mags\nMag pouch(s) enough to hold at least 2 rifle mags \nChest rig\, vest\, or belt (dealer’s choice)\nPistol (modern magazine fed\, full/mid size pistol recommended)\nA strong side outside the waistband holster (no trigger finger release holsters permitted ie. Blackhawk Serpa holsters\, check with staff beforehand with any questions)\nRange-appropriate attire (pants\, high collar shirt\, closed-toed shoes\, belt\, hat\, etc.)\nMinimum of 2 mags for the pistol \nMagazine pouch(s) enough to hold at least 1 pistol mag\n100 rds for pistol\nA Speedloader is highly recommended\nEye and Ear protection\nWATER!!!\nSnacks\nSunscreen\nNote-taking materials (pen\, marker\, notepad)\n\n  \n*To take this class\, you must have at least taken one of our courses (Intro to AR15) or have shown competence with an AR15 to our staff. MIL/LE are exempt from this requirement. \n*Must be able to legally own a firearm to take this course.
