SUMMARY:Concealed Carry Class Nevada
DESCRIPTION:The Nevada CCW Course is a mandatory 8 hours Class covering basic handgun safety\, usages\, ownership and Nevada state laws. There will be a shooting qualification and test with a Pass / Fail of 70% or higher. Course time will also include a 1hr lunch break and several smaller breaks. \nAll CCW renewal students are required to take a mandatory 4 hour renewal course which will include a shooting qualification. All renewals start at 1 PM. \nHR-218 (current and former LE) Attendees must be present at 4pm for the range portion only and must have the proper paperwork at time of qualification as it will not be provided by us. \n\nAge requirements 21 & older (Active Duty military on orders to Nevada can be 18+)\nValid ID\nBring your firearm of choice (Semi-Auto or Revolver)\n2 Magazines\nBring 50 rounds of Ammunition Min\nEye and Ear Protection\nRange appropriate attire (high collar shirts and closed toed shoes)\nWater\, Water\, Water\nSnacks and Drinks (Optional)\n\n*Must be able to legally own a firearm to take any course.

SUMMARY:Pistol Tactics 1
DESCRIPTION:This course will be a series of instructions\, demonstrations\, and live fire practical drills. The goal of this class is to build the skills of pistol tactics in terms of self-defense. Pistol Tactics 1 will focus heavily on drawing from a holster\, reloads\, practical shooting skills\, and much more. This tactical course will be relatively fast-paced\, while still giving breaks between certain drills and small breaks on the hour. The class will be held outside and require movement during drills. This is a 4-hour course and can potentially run longer depending on the class. \nEquipment required: \n\nPistol (modern magazine fed\, full/mid size pistol recommended)\nA strong side outside the waistband holster (no trigger finger release holsters permitted ie. Blackhawk Serpa holsters\, check with staff beforehand with any questions)\nRange-appropriate attire (pants\, high collar shirt\, closed-toed shoes\, belt\, hat\, etc.)\nMinimum of 3 mags for the pistol (enough to hold 40 rds)\nMagazine pouch(s) enough to hold at least 2 mags\nMinimum of 300 rds per person \nA Speed loader is highly recommended\nEye and Ear protection\nWATER!!!\nSnacks\nSunscreen\nNote-taking materials (pen\, marker\, notepad)\n\n*To take this class\, you must have at least taken one of our courses (Intro to Handgun or CCW) or have a valid CCW license. MIL/LE are exempt from this requirement. \n*Must be able to legally own a firearm to take this course.
